UMS Vice Chancellor Chess Cup Open Championship 2010

Venue: Dewan Kuliah Pusat A1 & A2, Universiti Malaysia Sabah(UMS)
Date: 9 – 10 October 2010
Time: 8.00am – 6.00pm

1. Tournament Regulations:
a. All players shall take part in a 7-round Swiss System individual event.
b. The games will be played according the schedule below. Please be punctual. Any latecomers are considered forfeited.
c. Pre registration is required.
d. Time control is 45 minute.
e. Tie-break system (Solkoff, Sonneborn Berger, Cummulative)
f. Limited to 100 participants only.
g. Notation is compulsory.Please refer to http://www.fide.com/fide/handbook.html?id=125&view=article
h. Any dispute or decision the Arbiter judge is final.

b. Students below age 18 - RM 20
c. UMS students - RM 20
